Emily + Phil Pioneer Square Engagement Session

Emily + Phil contacted me to shoot their wedding and I’m so glad they did! They were the most laid back fun couple! I told them (like I tell all my couples) that engagement sessions are a great way to meet each other, connect a bit, and get comfortable in front of the camera. They agreed and decided they wanted a more urban feel for their engagements since their wedding was going to be in a park/garden setting. We chose pioneer square because well.. just look at the photos.

I met Emily + Phil and we found a place to grab drinks. Phil is a huge fan of oysters so he ordered some for the table and had me try one for the first time. It wasn’t as bad as I expected but I also wouldn’t order them again! We drank a bottle of delicious rose’ together and then adventured all around pioneer square. It was such sweet time connecting with them, watching them connect with each other, and just all around having a good time with actual, physical people.

I can’t wait to blog they wedding. It involves an ice cream truck and a cat with a top hat! Yes, you’ll wanna keep an eye out for that!
